NovaPlex DMSLink has been written to simplify the integration of Microsoft Word templates into the Interwoven WorkSite
8.x Document Management System (DMS).

DMSLink will allow an organisation to present its document templates to its user-base in a simple, managed and organised fashion. The DMSLink File New feature extends the standard Microsoft Word File New feature with true DM integration features.
The unique Form Field feature within DMSLink will allow the simple use of profile data to be incorporated within the body of a document/template. These managed Form Fields will be kept automatically updated by DMSLink making it a very simple task to apply document references to documents, insert Author details or reference Client and Matter information.
These are just some of the benefits of incorporating DMSLink into your desktop. Additional features such as DM Hyperlinking and Mail Merge simply further extend this product to provide a complete set of improvement tools for the Microsoft Word and Interwoven WorkSite environment.
Acting as simple middle-ware and developed as a Microsoft Word COM AddIn, DMSLink implements all of the above features without the need to write a single line of macro code. All features are configurable via a simple-to-use Administration tool and can be enabled or disabled to suit the organisation.
The DMSLink configuration is stored within simple XML documents that are deployed to local workstations. The DMSLink client has an extremely small and unobtrusive footprint and is simple to deploy, manage and update if necessary.
All functionality and features used within DMSLink are native to Microsoft Word and therefore, documents created on workstations with DMSLink installed will continue to operate normally if later used on a workstation where the version of Microsoft Word differs or it does not facilitate the use of DMSLink.
